Jeremy McGrath

American Supercross racer Jeremy McGrath is the most successful rider in Supercross history. He won 72 Supercross rounds combining 450cc and 250cc including 7 Supercross championship. McGrath won a total of 89 titles in his overall AMA career. 

Jeremy McGrath

The duration of Jermy’s career was from 1989 to 2006. He raced for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha during his year’s long career. Because of this tremendous achievements, Jeremy was known as “King of Supercross”. 

James Stewart Jr.

33 years old James Stewart Jr. is a former American Supercross played. He won 50 Supercross races and 98 AMA outdoor national title. He won the Supercross Championship 4 times and FIM World Championship title 5 times.

Besides these, he also won 3 Motocross title. Stewart Jr. has announced his retirement in 2019. 

James started his career in 2002 and his last was in 2016. He was a speedy racer and because of that everyone called him “The Fastest Man on The Planet”.

Ricky Carmichael

Ricky Carmichael is a well-known Supercross rider. He won 48 Supercross races and won the Supercross Championship 5 time. After retirement from Moto racing, he started driving in NASCAR. He earned most titles in the early 2000s. 

Ricky raced for only 10 years from 1997 to 2007. It is not easy to earn 48 trophies in just 10 years. Because of his incomparable success, he was nicknamed “The GOAT”, which stands Greatest of All Time.

Chad Reed

Australian Supercross raced Chad Reed is one of the successful riders. He won 44 Supercross titles. He was a consistent racer in 2000-2009. 

Chad started his career in 1998 in Australia and still racing. Last year he finished in the top 5 in Supercross Championship. He is a 4 time Australian Supercross Champion.

Ryan Villopoto

US Supercross racer Ryan Villopoto is 5th in the list. He is a four-time supercross and three-time motocross tournament champion. He won 41 Supercross titles throughout his career. His most recent win came out in 2014. 

Ryan raced for only 9 years. He announced his retirement in 2015. After that, he competed in Stadium Super Trucks World Championship in 2017.

Ryan Dungey

Ryan Dungey was a professional motorcycle rider, who won Supercross 35 times. He is a 4-time Supercross Championship winner. The starting of his career was very brave.

Ryan directly turned to the pro from amateur racing class B. Dungey’s one of the biggest achievements is winning Motocross des Nations three times. This tournament is considered as the world’s largest international motocross race.  

In his 11 years of career, he won a total of 91 titles. After having an eventful career, Ryan retired in 2017. He won every major title in Supercross and Motocross for Suzuki and KTM. 

Ricky Johnson

Rick Johnson won the Supercross title for 28 times. Additionally, he won 7 AMA national championships. He also participated in NASCAR and off-road racing.

In 1999 Rick was listed into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame. A severe injury cost him the career. At the age of 26, he retired.

Bob Hannah

27 Supercross round winner Bob Hannah is an American racer. He was very successful with the 70 AMA national championship. He also won 7 Motocross national title. His nick name was Bob “Hurricane” Hannah.

His career length was from 1976 – 1989. Bob played for a Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and he was a member of the Yamaha factory racing team. In his 13 years of career, Hannah won 70 titles in total.

Eli Tomac

Eli Tomac is a young racer and he is just 27. He already won 27 Supercross titles and many more to come. He started 450cc career in 2013.

Eli’s professional career was started in 2010. He won 72 titles in total in his 9 years of a racing career.

Tomac played for Geico Honda and Monster Energy Kawasaki team. He will be playing a few more years. Fans can hope more titles for him.

Jeff Ward

Jeff Ward is a British-American motorcycle racer, who won 20 Supercross title. He won the championship two times. Motorcycle Hall of Fame enlisted him in 1999. He also included in Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2006.

He was active in racing from 1978–1992. During this period he won 56 titles in total. Jeff played only for the Kawasaki team.
